This was our first order of business when we moved in! It was so musty and made us cough. So the day we moved in I made a trip into our "local" fabricland!
Here is our kitchen bench seat before and after.
It is my first ever attempt at re-upholstering. I used a fake leather in a nice neutral color.
It took a little over and hour. It was close to wrapping a gift really... except using a staple gun instead of tape.

so, you've got a bench that goes around 2 sides of your table then? how is that working out for seating? do the little guys slip off it?
